The decision to restrict vehicular access to Gorsey Lane has been widely commented upon by many members of the public, with many expressing concerns about the management of traffic flows in the area. The public have seen the result of the introduced scheme in the form of backed up traffic on surrounding roads and compromised vehicular access to St. Margaret’s Church. Trafford Conservatives have consistently spoken against the crossing plans for this area. Residents agree that the implementation of these crossings have been largely disastrous for the area, so much so that a petition has been raised to restore vehicular access to Gorsey Lane. Trafford Conservatives were delighted to see that residents agree with us very strongly about the implementation of the crossing scheme on Gorsey Lane. The petition has now reached 505 signatures.

The petition can be found below, and Trafford Conservatives would encourage everyone to sign this petition.
