In 2022/3 Labour could have walked away from the Amey/One Trafford contract and used the 7 year break clause -
They didn’t.
All along Labour had the power to manage the contract properly.
They could have deployed the pothole pro to get on top of our roads and fix the potholes - a faster cheaper more efficient way to fix the dire roads that blight our area,
Labour just hasn't done their job.
Don't let Labour tell you they had no options .....or their hands were tied, it just not true.
