Proposals for an Islamic Centre and Mosque (Masjid) on Thorley Lane

As your local Councillors, we would like to inform you about an important development.

We have recently learned that the Altrincham and Hale Muslim Association (AHMA) is in discussions with Trafford Council regarding the construction of an Islamic Centre and Mosque (Masjid) on Thorley Lane, opposite the World of Water/Pets site. The proposed mosque is planned to accommodate up to 1,800 people and will be 2.5 storeys high, including a rooftop terrace and 94 parking spaces.

We believe it is essential to keep you informed about any new proposals that could impact our area. More importantly, we want to hear your thoughts and opinions on this matter so we can effectively represent the views of our community, especially if the proposal progresses to the planning stage.
