Broadheath By-election

Local campaigner Dave Morgan selected to fight Broadheath by-election

Following the resignation of Labour Cllr, Louise Dagnall, a by-election has been called in Broadheath Ward, to coincide with the Mayoral election on the 4th of May.

Councillor Stephen Anstee said “I’d like to wish Louise a speedy recovery following her recent ill health, and all the best for the future.”

Broadheath Ward Conservatives have selected local campaigner, Dave Morgan, to stand as their candidate in the by-election.

Dave Morgan is a local resident, is employed as a chartered accountant, and also serves as a governor at a local primary school. He has campaigned for improved local services for residents in Broadheath Ward over many years with local Conservative councillor, Stephen Anstee.

After his selection, Dave said, “I’m delighted to have been selected as your local Conservative candidate. Our local area is a fantastic place to live, and I’m committed to go on working to ensure we get the best for all residents in Broadheath Ward.”

Commenting on Dave’s selection, Cllr Stephen Anstee stated that: “Dave would be a fantastic local councillor, and will help build on the successes that I have achieved over the last few years as your Conservative councillor.”
