St Mary’s Ward: Rob Chilton

Rob Chilton needs your continued support, allowing him to continue standing up for the residents of St Mary’s Ward.

Rob, who works for a medical regulator based in Manchester, has served St Mary’s for seven years as a local ward councillor. In this time, Rob has been fortunate enough to be able to help countless residents with individual problems, take a lead in various community projects and has campaigned for the fair funding and allocation of resources in our area of Trafford. As well as his activity locally, Rob has represented the local borough on Greater Manchester’s transport authority, showing that his commitment to Trafford spreads well beyond the boundaries of his local ward.

As well as being a backbench councillor, Rob serves on the Health Scrutiny Committee.

Alongside his work and council commitments; Rob currently serves as Chairman of the Friends of Dainewell Park, Sale West Community Garden and Sale Civic society. As well as his chairmanships Rob has the privilege of being the Vice-Chairman of the Sale West and Ashton Partnership and a Governor of Firs Primary School.

Rob is also a Warden of St Paul’s Church in Sale, and is a volunteer at Coppice Library.
