COUNCIL leader Sean Anstee visited the Trafford Youth Cabinet earlier this month in order to establish more links between the Council and the youth representatives in the borough.
During his visit to the Cabinet meeting in Sale, Sean Anstee was quizzed on his campaign for Mayor and asked whether he received much online intolerance as many political candidates are opening upto after the General Election. Alongside this, youth representatives asked about the functions of the council and his role in Greater Manchester.
Cllr Anstee was also given a briefing on the achievements of the Youth Cabinet over the last year and invited to join them on further campaigns.
Continuing his commitment to Youth Engagement in Local Government Cllr Anstee invited the Youth Cabinet to join him and cross party councillors at the Town Hall for a strategy session on how the Borough can move forward.
Trafford Youth Cabinet meets every Wednesday at 4:30pm at Sale Waterside, any Trafford based secondary school pupils are invited to attend meetings.
